We have bo fresh features to note in connection with the grain market during tbe week. The tono is slightly better, although actual business is to some extent limited. Wheat.— Prices do not show much alteration. For best lines 3s Id to 33 2d is current. For Tuscan there ia slight ouquiry at Id moro for thoroughly sound samples. The demand for chick wheat is fairly good, while broken samples fit for milling are saleable. Oats.— Tho demand continues firm, and quotations are well supported. For good bright heavy -feed we quote 2a Id to 2s 2Jd, and milling 2s 3d. At auction during the week S3 2Jd was got for aline of milling. Feed lots, p.vrticnlavly Tartars, are not asked for to auy extent, Is 10-1 to 2s being about the Tolae. Bablet.— There is little to notice in connection with this grain. Prices for medium to best stand at 3s Cd to 4s. Feed grades are in fair demand. Fioub.— Millera still quate £9 to £9 10s, according to brand. Potatoes are coming forward more freely. Prices _re unchanged at 27s 6d to 30s. G&AC3 Seed.— The market is stagnant both in xyegrassand cocksfoot, and sellers at the moment woullhave to accept a' reduction on quotations xuli n g lately. Daiet Pboduce. — Butter, 8d to 9d ; cheese, 3Jd to lid. Advices by the mail just to hand report sales of both articles, which show a considerable advance on prices previously obtained in England.
