DUNBDIIT, Not. 21. The Te Anau landed her passengers and 700 tons of cargo at the Rattray street wharf this morning. She drew 15ft. She came np at half speed on a very poor tide. The tug Pluoky was in attendance, but her services were not required. There is muoh felicitation at this practioal proof of the Buccets of the harbour works in the upper harbour. The Te Anau will load here for Northern ports. DUNEDIN, Nov. 20. At the meeting of the new Harbour Board to-day a motion was carried by nine to four to do away with the permanent Committees, and deoiaing that all main questions of finance and works should be dealt with by the full Board, sub-Committees being appointed to deal with matters of detail. The amount of the £200,000 loan, which will be available after paying all liabilities, will be £105,060.
