An aooident happened to Mr John Bbarplin whioh might have resulted in very lerioui consequences. When crossing the river Eyrt on horseback leading another horse, the latter dragged him out of nil seat, and the hone be was riding fell on him, dislooating hifl shoulder and oaueing other flesh wounds. The sufferer was attended by Mr Howard Beet, who ia»« mediately reduced the dislocation under chloroform, and Mr Sharplin is now on.s' speedy way to reoorery.
