LONDON Sept. 5.
The British India Steam Navigation Company's new steamship Medea, to sail from Glasgow on Sept. 20 for Queensland with immigrants, is working nnder the bounty system. The Company intend despatching other steamers with bounty immigrants at intervals, in addition to their regnlar fortnightly steamers to Queensland.
CONSTANTINOPLE, Sept. 5.
Prince Alexander, of Bulgaria, hat announced his intention of abandoning the despotic form of Government, and has appointed a Commission to draw np a oharter of liberty for the people.
OAIRO, Sept. 5.
Quarantine has been abolished at Fort Said, the rapid suppression of the cholera epidemio in Egypt having rendered its oontinnance unnecessary. [Special to Press Association.]
