[Pbb Pbbbs Association.] AUOKLAND, July 18. H.M.S. Nelson arrived at Levuka from Suva, on July 9. Naturi,the ohief town on the Makuata coast, has been the scene of a murder. Ihe viotim was the husband of a woman who is said to have formed improper connections with another man, and her paramour is accused of the murder. He waß arrested by the Native officer. Ihe New Zealand Loan and Mercantile -Agenoy Oompany have acoepted tenders for the ereotion of reoeiving stores at Levuka. Ihe big sugar mill at Bewa has began work again. There is sufficient cane ready and ripening to keep it in steady work night and day up to the end of the year. The output which is being maintained is from 40 to 50 tons daily. The brigantine Meg Merrilies returned to Suva from New Britain and New Ireland, obtaining 109 recruits at the former island, four at the latter, and two at Solomon's Island.
