Loss, Three Millions Sterling. [Retjxkb's Telbgeams.] [Hocoived Deo. 9, at 11,20 a.m.J LONDON, Dec. 8. A great fire, which occurred to-day in Wood street, broke out at 4 a.m., in a block of buildings owned and partly occupied by Meßßrs Foster, Porter, and Company (Limited), wholeBale hosiers, between Addle street and London Wall. The whole of the block has been completely destroyed, and the loss is set down at fully three millions sterling. The fire ia the largest which has occurred in London Bince the great conflagration in Tooley street in 18G1, when the damage was estimated at a million and a-half.
