The Peninsular and Oriental Company's steamship Assam, with the inward Snez mail, whioh loft London on Nov. 3, arrived at King George'H sound this morning, two duys' lato. LONDON, Dio. 7. Intensely cold weather ia now experienced in Sootland, and heavy snowstorms have completely blocked the roads and railway lines in many dißtriots. being rapidly proceeded with, and the following prisoners hare been condemned to exile, the death sentences which were passed upon them having been commuted by the Khedive; Mahomed Fehung and Mahomed Lamy, formerly members of the Ministry ; Adellab, one of Arabi'B colonels, and oommander of the rebel garrison at Damietta; Toulba Pasha, formerly Governor of Alexandria.
