CRICKET.
* ♦ PAST T. PRESENT COLLEGE. This annual match was played yesterday in Hagley Park. Tho bojg going in first ran up tlio respectable total of 156, Bridge, the top ecorer, shaping very neatly. The Past began woll, as the liisb wicket brought 65, but after that the butting was of the most alarmingly crooked description, and while it fell off the bowlitiff and fielding improved. In vain Mr Koovob opened his shoulders repeatedly for 4's and 3's. He could neither reach the century nor win the match, and when tho last man ran himself out the boys were hailed victors by soven runs. Pcore and analysis :— PRBSEKT COLLS*?.. First Innings.
