I have juit returned from a visit to tho new rush. Ono claim bottomed to-day, but got no gold ; they are now driving in the hope of getting on tho lead. Anothor olaim is getting about four pennyweights to the load before bottoming, at a depth of -10 feel. I saw tho conclusion of tho cradling at Cormick'a claim, and the washing up. I then accornpuuiod ono of tho partner' io their hut, and caw tho gold dried and weighed, from
