Nothing ie ao admirable aa logic. A French traveller hurried out of the train, tired and dusty, and, seating himself afc the restaurant tablo, cried out — " Vaitaire ! bring me a bif tek." The waiter replied tkat it would take half an hour to order and cook the desired viand, while the train only stayed 15 minutes. The kindly and sweet-tempered Gaul retorted — " Veil, den, bring me half a bif tek." The waiter wilted.
