At the Delissa Sugar Company's meeting yesterday the Ohairman stated that all the capital of the company amounting to £1000, would be absorbed before a profit was made. Planting in tho Northern territory is going on satisfactorily. £6500 was tho original estimate of expenditure. Four new tramways from Adelaide to tho suburbs are proposed in addition to tho three already working. No Btudentß offered themselves this year for the Anguß engineering scholarship of tho Adelaide University of tho valuo of £200 per annum.
National Bank shares sold at £8 6j. Tho Banks propose to reduce the rite of discount to 6 per cent.
It is understood that the report of the Board of Enquiry upon the Aeaiatant AuditorGeneral is favourable to that officer.
