THE HOSPITAL STAFF.
Tho following has been handed to us for publication : — "To tho Chairman of tho Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.
" Sir, — I learn that I havo this afternoon been elected a member of tho Hospital etaff for the ensuing year. In view of tho report of the Royal Commissioner on the result of tho late Hospital enquiry, ifc will be scarcely necessary for me to inform you that under the circumßtances I cannot be expected to allow mysolf to be associated with a 6taff upon whom such grave charges reßt. "No course, therefore, is open to me but to tender my resignation, which I now respectfully do. — I have, &c,
