The match between the Australians and Dublin University team was continued to-day.. _ The attendance of the public at the match was large, and the ■weather was vary fine throughout the day. The Home team in their first Innings were all dißpoaed of for 98 runs. The Australians then went in for their second innings, and when stumps were drawn had lost six wickets for 132 rans. Bannerman was caught -when he had made 69. Local Option in England. la the House of Commons to-day, Sir Wilfrid Lawson introduced a aeries of resolutions on Local Option and Licensing. Mr Gladstone strongly opposed them, but the House agreed to the resolutions.
