THE MAMMOTH MINSTRELS.
There 'was an excellent attendance again last evening at the Theatre Rojal, when the greater portion of the programmo of Saturday night was repeated in a manner which met with hearty applaueo. A feature in the second portion of the programme was the introduction of an unaccompanied quartette called " The Message," which was a very harmonious arrangement of a thoroughly musician-like character. Though the key is charged twice, the modulations aro made in so artistic a manner that the change is not noticeable. The singers gave it con amore. A part song unaccompanied is as a^ rule more enjoyed by an audience when kept subdued, with only an occasional forte. " The Message " was a treat of no common order, and was rapturously applauded, as it deserved to be. One or two of the amusing trifles which followed in this portion of the programme were made all the more, comical by the introduction of some well managed. mechanical effects. The same progriinmo will be repeated this evening, and to-morrow there will be an entire change.
