LYTTELTON.
Friday, Oot. 10. (Before J. Beswick, Esq., R.M., T. H. Potts, and W. Maskell, Esqs.) Repttsai. of Ditty. — A seaman on board the German barque Don Guillermo, was charged by Captain Johansen with this offence. The Bench ordered him to be sent on board. Larceny.— Andrew Waldecke was charged with stealing a pair cf oara, valuo 325, the property of John Monroe. John Monroe, master of the schooner Pelican, stated that he missed tho oara from the vessel, and he went in search of them, and found them on board the ketch Southern Queen. He could swear to one of tho oara as bsing hia property. Accused said he was only a seaman on board the ketch, and knew nothing about any onrs at all. He was not master of the ketch. The Bench did not consider that there waa any evidence to connect the accused with the case, and dismissed it.
