i Dissolution of Pabmament.— We are Informed by telegraph from Wellington that Parliament will be dissolved by proclamation either this afternoon or Friday morning. Ihe new writs will be issued on Monday.
T-iNGiOBA. Boeouqu Council.— There is at present on view in Mr Jenning's shop window, at Rangiora, a collection of photoeraphs of the nine Councillors and Mayor ot rfanriora, with that of Mr C. G. Chapman, the Town Clerk. They are in a neat frame in the form of vignettes, with the Mayor in an enlarge* form in the centre. They are arranged in order according to the relative ! position attained at the fint election, Electobai.— In another parl of this issue will be found a list of candidates for the various seals throughout the Colony. Mr W. C. Fendall has announced hw intent on of contesting the Ashley seat ; the Hon John Hall has also announced his candidature for the Selwyn. The Hon B. Kichardeon has issued an address to the city electors, which will I be found in another column, H. AUwnght, one of ihe Lytteton candidates, addressed the electors last night.
