As some recognition for this kindnesß the Committoe had unanimously passed the following resolution:— "That, in the opinion of this Committee, a special vote of thanks is due to Captain Bowie and the officers of the Red Gauntlet, for the attention paid by them to the poultry and pigeons imported from England for members of the Society."
