Defendant deposed that the plaintiff undertook to perform thework, saying that he understood what was wanted, but the article supplied wasthoroughly übolobb. Plaintiff was instructed to put certain parts in Indian ink, but he made the ourtains of scarlet and vermillton. The shield was to be photographed, bub could not bo used for photography. The Masons objeotcd to it, and offered the plaintiff £& without prejudice It was stated that a draughtsman, illuminator and heraldic artist thought that four guineas would be omplofor the work, supposing it to be thoroughly done.
