Mails oloae at tho Chief Post Office for tho following places (subject to the necessary alterations), as under j— , ,a ' Thursday, June 19. , For Kelson and Westport, per "Wangamu, at 1.50 p.m.; late feo letters, 2.10 p.m. ;. guard's van, 2.40 For Northern Ports of New ZeaWd, Now.South Wales, and Queensland, per Tararua, at 3 p.m. ; late feo letters, 3.15 p.m. j guard's van, 4 p.m. train. Saturday, Juno 21. For the United Kingdom, continents of Europe and America, West Indies (via San Francisco), China, Japan, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of Now Zoaland, Ac, per L%dybird, as under :— Ordinary letters at 12 noon, late fee letters at 12.30 p.m., books and newspapers at 11.30 a.m., registered fettera at 11 a.m., money orders at 11 a.m., lato letter box, guard's van, 1.26 p.m. Lyttelton train. This mail will be due in London on Aug. 5. The next mails for tho United Kingdom via Brindisi and Southampton (for specially addressed letters only) will be closed at Chrigtchuroh on Juno 80. Tho mail via Brindisi will be due in London on Ang 25, and tho mail via, Southampton on Sept. 1
