MAIL NOTICES.
Mails olose at the Chief Post Office for the following places as under, subject to the necessary alterations :—
Saturday, April 19, For Akaroa and Otago, per Wanaka at 1.50 p.m.; late fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train.
For Northern Ports, per Ladybird, at 6.80 p.m.; late letter box, guard's van, must not be used for this mail.
Monday, April 21. For Otago and Australian Colonies, par Albion, at 1.50 p.m.; lato fee letters, 2.10 p.m.; guard's van, 2.40 p.m. train.
Tuesday, April 22. Tor Australian Colonies, per express train to Port Chalmers, at 7.30 a.m.
Thursday, April 24. For Northern Ports of New Zealand and Australian Colonies, per Eotorua.
Tho next mail for the United Kingdom via San Francisco will bo closed at Cliristchurch on April 25, and will be due in London on Juuo 10.
The next mails for the United Kingdom, via Brindisi and Southampton, will be closed at Cliristchurch on May 5. The mail via Brindisi will be due in London on June 30, and tho niail via Southampton on July 7.
