CLEARANCES FOR LONDON.
{ Tho two splendid clipper ships Maraval and forthoß, loaded by the Now Zealand Shipping ComIpany, olenrod at the Customs for London yeateriday. Both these vessels have received excellent /despatch since their arrival in port;, and the short jtimo in which they have been got roady for sea (certainly redounds greatly to the credit ol tho port { and all concerned therewith. The Maraval came I here with 6CO tons of ballast aboard, and in twelvo J working days alongside tho wharf put out her / ballast and loaded a cargo of over 16,000 tacka of J wheat, besides 138 bales ol wool and 9 of leather. I The Orthes occupied a borth at the wharf for 34 working days, and in that time she landed over 2300 I tone of general cargo, and shipped 15,500 sacks of i wheat. Both vessels will probably Bail to-day, and U muoh interest will be felt aa to the result of the race Home, each of them possessing very superior sailing qualities. Tho aggregate value of the two cargoes amounts to £34,500.
