As a tonio, diure* tic, and anti-dyspeptic cordial it has fche re« commendation of the leading continental physicians, and is now acknowledged as fche latest and most valuable remedy for gravel, gout, and chronic rheumatism. Dr. Hassall'l Report, fche Analytical and Sanitary Insfcitu* tion, 54, Holborn Viaduct, E.G., London, May 9, 1877. Report on a sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps receivea from Mr H. J. Hart. We have subjected a sample of tht above-named article to a very careful chemi* cal analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate roport, show that this spirit is of good strength, practically free from acidity, and thafc ifc contains bufc fcraces of Bolid matter in solution. Ifc possesses a delicate and agree* able aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Schnapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Hassall, M.D. author of "Food and its Adulteration" j Otto Herner, F.C.S., Public Analyst. WM. JOHNSON'S REPORT.-Govern ment Analytical Laboratory, Melbourne, July 23, 1877- -Henri J. Harfc, Esq.— Sir,— l havo the honour to report for your information fchat the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted fco a searching chemical analysil and critical examination, tho result of which enables mo to state that it ia the finest samplo of Schapps fchat has as yet come under my notice. It has a pure fragrant odour, and v absolutely free from any trace of fiwil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, alwaytr used instead of mal in the production of the moicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate and in this respect com* pares favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may be advised aB equally suit* able for medical or economic purpoßOS. I iave fche honour to be, &o. (Signed) Wm. lohnson, Analytical Chemist to fcho Govern* ment of Victoria. This pure medical spirit — superior to any h tho market, and lowor in prico, is offered o the public under the full conviction that (rill supersede all others now in use. i TRIAL IS EARNESTLY SOLICITED. .
