[special to the stab]. Jan. 17. At the sale of the late Captain Eead's property the suburban allotments facing the Gladstone road fetched at the rate of £50 per acre. This is lower than the price 3 ruling some months ago. Lot No. 1, near Rudd's quay, fetched £1400 ; Makauri, 650 acres, fetched £6500 ; The Willows, £350.0. Lot 2 brought £1850. Mr Eees gave notice that the Kativos intended to dispute the title.
