The barque Sunbeam, from Kaipara, arrived this morning. The Prince Alfred, for Pelorua Snnn.i. nm.u, for Chatham ißiimdoi ana Gleaner, fjr Greymouth, Bailed this morning. The ship Kangitikei was towed out from tlio wharf by the p.s. Titan tliis morning, and will sail fo* London this afternoon. Two barques were signalled from tho south this xnotniug. There being a number of vessels now dao.it is impossible - o predict what they will prove to be. The barque Adelphoi sailed for Newcastle yesterday morning. The sailing of fche a.s. Tui is postponed until to-moi.ow. The Beabird, brigantine, was signalled shortly before . p.m. yesterday. The Quelle cleared out at the Customs yesterday, for Melbourne. The brij_antino Gleaner, for Greymouth, cleared •nt yesterday. The Union Company's &fcoainor Wakatipu, is due from Port Chalmors this morning, and will sail for Wellington aud Sydney this afternoon. Tho e.s. Arawata, from Wollington, will arrive hero this afternoon, and sail for Melbourne, vii South, taking the outward Suez mail. Owin? to the heavy rain yesterday, all work at the wharves was entirely suspended, with the exception of the rec.ipt of c irgo from tho s.s. Maori iv the latter part of the afternoon. The s.s. Maori, Captain Boruich, left Dunedin at 5 p.m. on ; Jan. 13. Had strong south-west wind and. ruin np the coast to arrival in borbonr, at 2.30 p.m yesterday. The Maori sails for Nelson aud West Const at 10 a.m. to-day.
