We have subjected a sample of th* above-named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate report,, Bhow fchafc this spirit is of good strength, practically free trom acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in solution. It possosses a delicate and agreeable aroma, and a pure and mild taste. Mr Hart's Schiedam Sclinapps is a very superior article of its class, is well purified, and quite genuine. (Signed) Arthur H. Hassall, M.D. author of "Food and its Adulteration" ; Ofcto Herner, F.C.S., Public Analyst. WM. JOHNSON'S REPORT.— Govern ment Analytical Laboratory, Melbourne, July 23, 1877- -Henri J. Hart, Esq.— Sir,— I have the h-.nour to report for your information that the sample of Imperial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, the result of whioh enables me to state that it is the finest samplt of Schapps that has as yefc come under my notice. Ifc has a pure fragrant odour, and it absolutely free from any trace of fusil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of mat in the production of ths choicest qualitios of Schnapps. Ifc is very smooth to the palate and in this respect compares favourably with other samples offered for sale. It may bo advised as equally suitablo for medical or economic purposes. I have the honour to be, &c. (Signed) Wm. Jolinson, Analytical Chemist to tne Government of Victoria. This pure medical spirit — superior to an* in tho market, and lower in price, is offered to the public under the full conviction thati will supersede all others now in use. A TRIAL IS EARNESTLY SOLICITED. WILSON, SAWTELL, k CO., 3_4 Merchants, Agents, Ohrisfcchurch
