RICHMOND v. AVONVILLE.
A match was played between the above Clubs on Saturday, which resulted in a drawn match in favour of the former. Theocores w ero : — Richmond, Ist innings, 43 ; Avonville, lab innings, 43 ; 2nd innings, 7 wickets for 8 runs. For the former Cavanagh 13; and for the latter Shand ,13, not out, were the only double Ggures. The bowling of Man and Eldridge for Richmond proved very destructive, the former taking eight wickets, and the latter nine. Shand waa the only one worthy of note on the Avonville side.
