This Society is formed on the basis of several oi the largest and most successful Co-Operative Societies in England, for tho purpose of supplying its members and the general public with articles ot domestic consumption and general utility at the lowest possible pricos, and at a great reduction. The advantages derived by Shareholders c insists in obtaining their goods at a much reduced cost, and participating in the profits of the Society. Any. person desirous of benefiting by the Society's arrangements must be qualified by taking a £2 Share, 10s to be paid on application, 10s in one month, 10s in two months, and 10s in three months, from the date of application, which will allow their attendance at all the meetings of the Society. The premises of the Company in Christohurch to be arranged by the Provisional Directors. BEGULATIONS. Peison wishing to become Members are particularly requested to read the following : — Ist. Payment.— All articles purchased, either of the Society or of the Pirms in connection, must be paid for at or before the time ot purchase, and no exception to this rule will bo allowed. 2nd. Bemittancea. — All ordors sent by poßt muat be accompanied by a remittance, unless previously paid to the Society's credit at any of tho branches of the Bank . Post-office orders and cheques should be crossed and made payable to tho order of the Manager. 3rd. Deposit Accounts. — Depositors so desiring may open accounts with the society for sums not less than £5, which accounts will bo lebited with the amount of each order. Orders against Deposit Accounts must have the words " Deposit Account" written upon them. Deposit Acoounts cannot be overdrawn. Depositors are therefore requested to keep on account at home, to avoid disappointment. 4th. Order Forms. — Orders shall in all cases be made out in the forms ißsued by the Society. Separate orders mu_t be given for each department when sent by post. Order hooks for this purpose are issued by the society. sth. Particulars to be given on Ordors. — The depositor's namo must be inserted on overy Order Form, and, if the goods aro to be sent, the address must be distinctly written on tho back ot each •rder. 6th. Packages for the Country will bo delivered free of oost to the railway station, from which carriage must be paid by the consignee, and all goods will bo delivered free within two miles of the Society's stores. 7th. Execution of Orders.— Orders up to eleven o'olock a.m. will always, so far as practicable, bo despatched the same day. The.Mauager wili be glad to receive notice of any mistakes, delays, or irregularity in the articles despatched from their Stores, whioh shall reoeive attention. NOTICE. The Stores will be closed for all publio holidays, and also for stock taking ou the last Monday of June and December. Prioe lists are published quarterly, so as tc embody any alteration in the market rates ; they can be obtained, together with Order Porms ana Books, at the Stores. POBM OP APPLICATION POE SHABES.
