Quite a fleet of vessels got away yesterday morning with the westorly breeze, among them the Wollomaland Prince Alfred for Auckland, Cleopatra for Napier, Emerald for Napior, Elizabeth for the Thames, Ac, the Excelsior for Wellington, and Advance lor Giaborne. Two oolliorß left for Newcastle, and the ship City of Dunodin also sailod. The barque Cabarfeldh left Newcastlo on August 11 with light easterly winds and calms, whioh lasted until August 15, when the breeze oamo away from the north-weßt. This brought the vessel to within 100 miles of the land, Cape Farewell boing sighted on August 21. Light southerly and easterly winds were experienced through the Straits, and Cape Campbell waß pasßcd on Friday ; thence northerly winds to arrival in harbour. The barque Witch of tho Wave, Captain Quthrie, left Newoastle on August 8 with the wind from the Westward, whioh continued bo for two days, and then shifted round to the Southward. Mado Capo Farewell on August 21 1 had light variable Southerly winds for two days in the Straits, and cleared them on Thursday morning, with tho wind light from the Eastward. It remained so until Friday morning, when it veered round to North, bringing the vessel into harbour at seven a,m on Saturday. She brings a oargo of coal to W. Montgomery and Co. The 8.8. Arawata, Captain J. Underwood, left this port, at 6 p.m., August 22; reaohed Wellington, at 8.80 a.m., next day j left for Nelson, at 10.45 p.m., and arrived there, at 10 a.m,, August 24. Left again at 12.80 p.m., arrived back at Wellington, at 8;50a.m., August 25} left at 8.20 p.m., and arrived in harbour, at 0.80 a.m., on Saturday. Tho Arawata was moored at the Gladstone wharf, where she dis charged 10 tons oargo, took on board a fresh lading, together with outward Suez mail, and sailed for PoTtiOhalmersvthe Bluff, and Melbourne, at 6 p.m. on Saturday. We are indebted to Mr Miller, tho purser, for Wellington flies. The s.B. Eingarooma, Captain J. M'Lean, left Sandridge pier, at 2.15 p.m. on August 19 ; cleared the Heads at 5.15 p.m., and arrived at tho Bluff at 10 p.m. on August 28. Experienood moderato North-east winds and very flno weather throughout tho run. Left tho Bluff at 4.40 p.m. on Augußt 24 : reached Port Chalmers at 7.15 a.m. next day, left again at 4.10 p.m., and arrived in harbour at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The Bingarooma brought the Suoz mail, ex B.M. b.b. Assam, and 60 tons of cargo, whioh sho discharged at tho Gladstone pier, and Bailod for Wellington and Nelson at 5.80 p.m. on Saturday.
