Lee and others, for a footpath along the Avon River road. — The Board considers the road is too narrow to admit of same. • From E. J. T. Ford, re River Reserve road. — To be informed that the Board will attend to same at once. From Chrißtchurch City Council, complaining of a nuisance on the East town belt.— The clerk was directed to write asking, the Council to point out exact locality of of same. From Messrs Austin ahd Kirk. — The chair man and Mr Danlop agreed to go over theroads spoken of, and see what was required. JFrom Mr J. S. Williams, appointing a surveyor to re-survey the River road. From Mr M'Gava, complaining of the water on his sections at Waltham being backed up by the drain in the said district. — Referred to the Heathcote and Spreydon Drainage committee. The clerk was instructed to get a conveyance drawn of the road purchased from Mr F. Brittan. The foreman was directed to get drain pipes and put them in where required across the roads leading from section 69, on the Ferry road. Tenders for gravelling Canal Reserve road were opened, and one accepted ; also, for improvements at Moa Bone Point, on the Sumner road, were opened, and one approved of, which the clerk was instructed to forward to the Government for their sanction. Accounts to the amount of £122 17s 7d were passed, and ordered to be paid, when the Board adjourned.
