— o Friday, Nov. 22. PAPERS. Mr Kennaway laid several papers on the table. PETITION. The Hon Col. Brett presented a petition from four farmers in the Coleridge district, praying that the land they purchased from the Government some timo ago might be surveyed. The petition was read. It was then discovered that tho petition was addressed to the hon. member aud not to the Council, and the Speaker ruled that ifc could not be received. The Hon Col. Brett withdrew tho petition, and stated that he would present it in proper form on a future day. adjournment. Mr Kennaway, in moving the adjournment of the House, stated that the Financial Stutement would be made on Tuesday next. (Hear r hear.) The- House then adjourned till Tuesday next at sj>.m.
