[Pee New Zealand Peess Association.] Wellington, Nov. 20. By the Commission of inquiry into the mortality amongst; the children by the ship Bebington and the complaints of the passengers, it was stated that the ship was not well-adapted for the conveyance of passengers iv large humbers, and that greater discretion should be exercised in the selection of ships for that purpose. Mr Lemon has forwarded batteries and othor telegraphic implements to Auckland. There is every probability of floating a New Zealand Charcoal, Titanic, Steel, and Iron, Company. Nearly 1000 shares are applied for in Wellington. A public meeting to discuss the matter will be held shortly. An inexhaustible supply of limestone has been found iv the Manawatu district.
