LYTTELTON.
(Before W. Donald, Esq., R.M.) Obtaining Money undee False Pketences. — John Read was charged with this offence. The evidence of the prosecutor, Edward Ely, proved that the accused had sold him a watch-chain, which was valueless, for gold. Accused was committed for trial.
