Oct. 6 — William and Mary, schooner, 46 tons, Clarkson, from Wellington, via Amuri. CLEARED. Oct. 6 —Lord Ashley, s.s., 296 tons, Andrew, for Wellington. Oct. 6 — Taranaki, s.s , 299 tons, Wheeler, for Wellington. Oct. 6— Beautiful Star, s.s., 125 tons, Christian, for Dunedin, via intermediate ports. IMPORTS. In tbe Taranaki, Matheson's Agency, agents : 1 1 cases, 1 pel, I. Deßeer ; 2 pkgs, 1 case, G. Howard ; 2 cases J. Hunter ; 1 case, Robson ; 1 truss, Hobbs and Son ; 2 cases, Bayfield ; 2 do, Fairbank, 1 pkg, Order ; 1 bale, Cuddon. In the William and Mary, H. Dunsford, agent: 12,800 ft timber, J. C. Wilson; 50 tons limestone, Langdown and Co. Ths p.s. Lord Ashley cleared the Customs thia day for Ndthern ports, and was expected to sail at four o'clock. The s.s. Beautiful Star cleared the Cus toms this day for Dunedin, via intermediate ports. The s.s. Taranaki, Captain Wheeler, arrived in harbour this morning, at 10.15, from Otago. Left Port Chalmers at 4.15 p.m. yesterday, arriving as above ; experienced light S.W. winds and fine weather during the passage. We are indebted to Mr Moss, purser, for files. 'I he Taranaki sails for Northern ports to-night.
