fj Napiee, Sept. 14, 4.38 p.m. The Native Lands Court at Waipapa closed yesterday. Mr Locke succeeded in passing 300,000 acres of the Seventymile bush through the Court. The Government is in treaty for the block, the purchase of which will shortly be completed for the purposes of immi* gration and settlement. The Court sits in Napier on Friday. A sailor, supposed to be insane, jumped overboard from the Keera in the harbour, and swam straight out to sea. The pilot boat overtook him with some difficulty outside the breakers. Several parties have searched for Bruce, Peacock's overseer, at Taupo Lake, without success. Nelson, Sept. 14, 5.45 p.m. A new information has been laid against Harris for falsification of vouchers, and for forgery of same. The Luna, Sfcorm Bird, and Phoebe, have arrived from "Wellington and ! Wanganui ; the Charles Edward from West Coast. The Phoebe sails tonight for the North, and the Storm Bird for Picfcon and the South. The Airedale is looked for every tide. Wellington, Sept. 14, 7.40 p.m. The William and Mary, ketch, has arrived with grain from Lyttelton. 6.30 a.m., Bifleman, schooner, from Lyttelton; 2.30 p.mi Tararua, for Lyttelton. Post Chalmebs, Sept. 14, 5.20 p.m. The barque Elatworfch from New , castle and the brigantine Lismore from Melbourne, have arrived.
