She sails on her return trip to-morrow. The s.s. Lord Ashley, Capt Andrews, arrived in harbour this morning from Wellington aud Northern ports. She left Wellington at 2.15 p.m. on the 7th ; had smooth water and light breeze best part of the passage ; entered Lyttelton Heads at 7.45 a.m., and anchored at 8.15 a.m.; had an excellent run from Auckland, calling at Tauranga, and leaving Aucklaud on Sept. 2.
