This Dat. (Before C. C. Bowen, Esq., R.M.) Drunkenness. — James McDonald was proved to have been drunk and disorderly, but being his first appearance, and having been locked up all night, he was discharged with a caution. Breach or the Peace. — Alex. Beattie, for having committed this offence within sight of a constable m front of the A 1 Hotel, oa Saturday afternoon, was fined 10s. Violent Assault. — Alexander Gordon was brought up m the custody of Inspector Pender, charged with having violently a. saulted his wife. The evidence for the pros-v? cution not being fully prepared, his Worship, at the request ' of ths police, remanded prisoner until Tuesday.
