JT Waxgaitui, Aug. 20. Sfcormbird has arrived from Auckland. Twelve discharged soldiers of the 18 bh Boyal Irish, are passengers. Before leaving Onehunga a fight took place among them on the wharf. One named Morrissy struck a comrade. The wife of the latter pushed Morrissy over the wharf, and it is supposed that he received internal injuries. He suffered from sickness during the passage, and died on his arrival here. The police are making an investigation. It was a great success, upwards of £50 being netted. The Resaca, an American man-of-war, is expected here daily. The reason of her visit is unknown.
