MAIL NOTICES.
Mails for the Northern ports of New Zealand and tbe Australian colonies close at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23. Mails for the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Asia, and Africa, via Suez, Marseilles, and Brindiai, will close on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 9 a.m. Registered letters and money orders at 5 p.m. on Monday. Late letters at 9.35 a.m. Correspondence intended to be forwarded by theso routes must be specially so nd-j dressed.
