The schooner Lady Don, Captain Toomey, has arrived in harbour from Hokitika. The s.s. Beautiful Star, Captain Christian, arrived in harbour this day, at 9 a.m., from Dunedin, via other ports. She left Port Chalmers at 5 a.m. on Sunday morning ; arrived at Timaru at 3 p.m. same day, if here she was detained until Thursday, leaving on that day at 5 p.m. without discharging her cargo. She is expected to sail on her return trip to-morrow. Messrs M'Meckan, Blackwood and Co.'s s.s. Gothenburg, Captain M'Lean, arrived in harbour this morning at 12 noon, from Melbourne, via Dunedin. She left the latter port at 4 p.m. yesterday, and experienced rough weather to arrival. She was expected to sail this evening for Melbourne, via Wellington and West Coast ports.
