♦ CHRISTCHURCH. This Dat. (Before C. C. Bowen, Esq., BJUL, and G. . Packe, Esq.) Drunkenness. — Charles Coxan, in the custody of Constable Kennedy, admitted haying been drunk and. incapable, but having been locked up all night, and being his flijat offence, was discharged with a caution.— Michael Griffin, arrested by Constable Wilson but out on bail, was charged with being drunk and disorderly and using obßcene language in front of the Theatre on Saturday nigbt. From the evidence, it appeared that accused was refused admittance - to tbeTheatre on account of drunkenness, whereupon he created the disturbance complained of. THa Worship said thess disturbances at places of public amusement were intolerable, and notwithstanding that it was accused's first appearance, he would be fined 10s.
