Port Chalmers. — August 1, early, Beautiful Star, for Lyttelton; 1 p.m., Airedale, for Lyttelton. Hokitika— August 1, 11.30 a.m., Omeo, for Melbourne.

She left on the 16th ult., and f had to contend against the late heavy • westerly gales until the 9th inst., when she was in lat. 36deg. S., and lon. 160deg. E.
