MAIL NOTICES.
ENGLISH MAIL, VIA SAN FRANCISCO, ON TUESDAY, AUG. 2, at 8.30 a.m. Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Africa, America, and the West Indies, via San Francisco, will close on Tuesday, August 2. Newspapers at 7.30 a.m. Money orders may be obtained and letters registered till 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1. Mails for the Northern provinces of New Zealand will close at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2. Late letters for all the above places may be posted till 9.25 a.m. on Aug. 2, such letters to bear the usual late fee in postage stamps. Mails for Northern provinces of New Zealand will close at 4.15 p.m. on Saturday, Jniy 30. Coirespondence for the United Kingdom and Australian colonies, via Hokitika, wil' close at 7.30 p.m., on Thursday, July 28. Letters must be specially addressed via Hol-'tika. Late letters can be posted until 5 a.m. on Fxlday, Ju'y 29, such letters must bear the usu? 1 . late fee.
