The Circular Saw Company's s.s. Airedale, A. Kennedy, commander, arrived in harbour this morning, at half-past nine, from" Wellington and Northern ports. Left Onehunga wharf at 2 p.m. on the 21st, crossed the bar the same day at 3.45 p.m.; arrived off Taranaki at 4 a.m. on the 22nd; the Rangatira also anchored at 8 a.m. The Airedale sailed again at 11 a.m., but put back for a passenger, and finally proceeded at 11.30 a.m. for Nelson, and arrived off the lighthouse at 1.30 p.m. on the 23rd ; had variable winds and smooth weather throughout. Left Nelson at 4 a.m. on the 24th, and arrived atPicton at 1 p.m.; sailed again at half-past 1 ; called at Tawiti ; left at 5.40 p.m. It came on to blow from the S.E. -when halfway across the Straits ; arrived at Wellington at 9.30 p.m. on Monday ; left •Wellington at 3.35 p.m. yesterday, arriving as above.
