Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, and America and West Indies, via San Francisco, will close on Wednesday, June 1. Hour will be given in a future notice. Mails for the Australian Colonies "and Northern ports of N.Z. will close at 1.30 p.m. on Monday, May 23. Should the Omeo leave Lyttelton on Monday afternoon, correspondence for the Australian colonies may be posted until 6 p.m on Monday, May 23, and late letters until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24. Mails for Ota go and Southland will close at 9.15 a m. on Wednesday, May 25th. Mails for the Australian Colonies and Northern Provinces of New Zealand will close at 11.15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25.
