A barque, supposed to be the Adeline Burke, was signalled as our express left. A fulx-kiqged ship, supposed to be the Glenmark, is at anchor outside the Heads. Messrs McMcckan, Blackwood, and Co.'s s.s. Rangitoto arrived in harbour this morning at 9 o'clock, from Melbourne, via West Coast and Northern ports. She sailed this afternoon for Melbourne, via Dunedin and the Bluff. The N.Z.S.N. Co.'s s.s. Wellington arrived in harbour at 9.45 this da}', from Dunedin, which port she left at 5.50 p.m. yesterday, experiencing fine weather and smooth water until arrival as above. We are indebted to Mr Moss, the purser, for full files. The Wellington sailed this evening for Northern ports. Messrs McMeckan, Blackwood and Co.'s s.s. Omeo arrived in harbour from. Melbourne, via. Bluff harbour and Dunedin, at 7.15 this morning, having on board the f-nglishSuez Mail. She sailed from Hobson's Bay at 4.30 p.m. on Dec. 23 ; passed through the Heads at 7.30, and was abreast of Cape Schanck at 9 p.m. Experienced light winds until passing Swan Island at 5 p.m. on Dec. 24 ; thence steady northerly breezes for the rest of the passage across. Passed the Solander at 3 a.m. on Dec. 28, and entered Bluff harbour at 10 30 a.m. Discharged mails and cargo, and sailed at 6 p.m., arriving at Dunedin at 8.5 a.m. on Dec. 29, having experienced southerly winds and thick weather along the coast ; having discharged mails, cargo, and passengers, she sailed for Lyttelton at 1 p.m., arriving as above. We are indebted to the purser for files. The Omeo, before this trip, was laid up in Melbourne for upwards of three weeks, during which time she had her hull and machinery thoroughly overhauled, and is now iv first class orJer. She sailed this afternoon for Melbourne, via Northern and West Coast ports.
