SCOTTISH DANCE WELL ATTENDED
A large number of visitors from Tauranga were present at the Scottish Society dance staged in . McDowell’s Hall on Saturday evening, and the performance of the Highland Fling by Miss Balvie, a member of the Pipe Band was watched with interest. The pianist, Mr L. Cooper was relieved for a short while when Mrs Tregidga obliged with an extra and two pipers and a drummer played for traditional dances. A new dance was introduced into the programme which Was supervised by Mr Richardson as M.C. During the course of an enjoyable function, a light supper was served by members of the committee.
