I’APAMOA BRANCH MEETS OFFICERS ELECTED The annual meeting ot the Papamoa Women's Institute was held ill the Papamoa Hall on 13th March. Mrs Lloyd was present as visiting officer and gave an interesting address on the Women s Institute movement. Mis McNanghlon presented her with a spray. Sprays were also presented. i.y t he commit Ice, to the president, ' vire-pi’esident, secretary and treasurer. An election ol officers, was -held and till* following members were elected on the committee: -President, Mrs R. MeNaugliton ; committee. Mesdames Dickson, Weroltia, Whiteside, A. Riddell. J. McNaiighloii, Morton, Raul McLean, McLeod and GuMi. The compel it ions lor tin* day were won as follows -Cargo Bloom— Mrs MeCein 1, Mrs Paul 2. Small Bloom Mrs Paul 1, Mrs Mcßoan 2. Tin* singing of tin* National Anthem brought the afternoon to a close.
