OBITUARY
MR EDWARD LAW
The death occurred last week at Whakataue of Mr Edward Law, aged 75 years. Born at .Nelson, lie first farmed there a;id then at Shannon, coming to Wllakatane and taking N up swamp land in 1918. He took a keen interest in local body affairs, and was a member of flood control and drainage boards and the Horowhenua County Council. For eleven years he was chairman of the Shannon Dairy Company, and also was on the Eangitikei Dairy Company’s directorate. He was a noted breeder and judge of Milking Shorthorns, and was first president of ilie Milking Shorthorn Association. Mr Law was married twice and is survived by his wife, seven sons add two daughters..
