SATURDAY’S MATCHES
The semi-final of the senior competition w r ill be played on Saturday between Maketu and Papamoa. The game commences at 2-45 p.m. The junior match, starling at 1-30 p.m., is between Papamoa and Ranginru.
In the junior game on Saturday Old Boys beat Paengaroa by a com fortable margin.
Paengaroa were the winners in the senior match against United in the knock-out competition by 9 points to 3. Tries were scored by Hughes and Kingi while McKenzie kicked a penalty goal. Valder scored for United.
The Papamoa teams for Saturday will be selected from the following: Seniors—Bennett, Hetu, Morgan, Ahirmiro, Hickey, Thomas, Potene, Clarke, Satherly, Grahame, Rehu, O’Reilly (2), Wilkins, Tanner, Lennard.
Juniors—Kokin!, Daniels, Werohia, Patrick, Paul, Hone, Rolleston, Steere, Mitchell, Phare, Alexandra, Bryant (2), Phillips (2), Kitto, Hoko, Williams.
