LIVE STOCK AND CLEARING SALES N.Z. LOAN & MERCANTILE AGENCY COMPANY LTD. (Incorporated in England) LIST OF FORTHCOMING SALES SALE OF DAIRY HERD TE PUKE SALEYARDS FRIDAY, AUGUST sth at 12-30 p.m. Favoured with instructions from Mr C. 0. Riddell, of Papamoa, we will sell absolutely without reserve his herd of : 100 choice quality Jersey and Jersey-Cross dairy cows. Mosly August/September calvers. Owing to continual flooding, practically the whole of Mr C. 0. Riddell’s farm is waterlogged, and so as to have sufficient feed for his breeding ewes he is compelled to sell his cows. He is carrying a large number of breeding ewes and the bulls were purposely put out a month later than usual so that the cows will be calving in August and September. This is a good clean herd, any very late calvers and empty cows are not being offered, and we can thoroughly reeommend them to farmers requiring cows calving when the feed is becoming plentiful.
